Puzzles

I had one written a story on pieces but they weren't pieces of the heart, it was pieces that make up life, like episodes or events or people that come and go, we do not always get what we want, but sometimes we have to appreciate the value of each 'piece' that comes by

This child given a puzzle, frustration builds as they try to force the pieces into place and then it falls apart,
the puzzle forms standing in front of just this one piece, it is shaped weird and looks ugly, the child cannot determine why he is given this piece, he wants to destroy it but can't, he hates this piece and forgets the puzzle.

now the years have gone by and the child is tired from trying to force pieces into place, and push out the pieces that were already there, he is ready to close his eyes and enter eternal sleep but then he is given a chance to look at the puzzle,
it is perfectly formed and beautiful, one cannot even see the creases where the unwanted pieces were, looking at it now, he sees the necessity of these pieces, how they fell into place and created this story.

we do not fully comprehend the puzzle until the very end, we need to elevate ourselves beyond the material plane to see the necessity of each piece.
it is like the soul repaying the karmic debt to complete a cycle. to complete the picture, each piece ( karma /destiny/action) builds the puzzle, we have to try to complete it.

soulmate

we have more than one and then there is the ultimate one.
just exacty what does soulmate mean to you?
do you believe in the existance of a soulmate?
what defines a soulmate
what defines love?
can we have more than one soulmate.

V:
Who is a soulmate? It is simply what the word means literally! A soulmate is the mate of the soul. We enter in this world helpless, without a clue, and any person who makes this inevitable journey slightly better, more enjoyableshould be called a soulmate! The mother who gives us birth is our fist mate and every person having a positive influence on our life becomes a mate thereafter!
Along its long course, life makes brings people together just like two floating logs meet each other. Much out of our control, we meet people, interact with them and separate later. SOme bonds stay until one or both of the people leave this world, some are comparatively short-lived.
Although meeting someone in life in not in our powers, we have control over how we behave with them once we do come in contact. People come in all colors and shapes and have multiple personalities. We do not always agree with each one of them. And differences are common as well!
But why cant we spread good will and love to those who come in contact with us? We should be like the flower, which gives smell to even the person who tries to smash it. Look at the tree, which gives shade to anyone, irrespective of who it is. Look at the river, which quenches hunger of one and all. We need to learn from nature, which spreads love and harmony no matter who the recepient is!

Most people think of a soulmate as a love-mate, a single life partner. "Finding a suolmate" is an ambition, often romantic, for many! But why should you find something which is right infront of you! Life, by itself, bring so many sufferring people infront of us! WHy cant you become a soulmate of all of them? Give inconditional love, complete support, become the tree which give shade even to the person who comes with an axe to uproot it!

Why should one restrict oneself with a single soulmate? EVery soul in the world should become a mate! 'Love thy neighbour' is the message! Spread the message of love, it is not about expectations from someone! It is about sacrifice. If you are successful, you become a Jesus or a Buddha, if not you vanish in the same! That universal giving is true love, true acceptance! We need to each practise exactly that!

V2: So you are saying that the soulmate is the bieng/s who touches the soul.
yes the world can become the soulmate, but many of us prefer to be deceived by the heart which insists that there is just one. We still have the burden of 'I' and we want that person that this 'I' can exist in harmony with.
two souls, two hearts, two minds synchronized. yes sometimes we feel the pulse of the world in tune with ours. but the heart will deceive, and some will look forever probably chasing after an illusion or myth created by the heart but still we look.

And then what if there is a soulmate for every being? Not necessarily an opposite but someone who will complement us like , day/night, light/dark, fire/water, sun/moon the world exists on the fulcrum, with the balance of these.
What if you do not believe that there is one being for you. A soulmate, I believe is that soul that has been travelling with you since the existence of time and will continue to travel, and one will eventually find this constant companion or at least recognise them. maybe it is not a romantic notion, but simply a life partner, a being who exists in your life for just a short moment but the imapact they have on your life lasts forever. It does not matter if they stay a day or forever but the heart keeps them there forever.

and V, what if someone is searching for that one person, then doesn't everyone become a potentail soulamte so we would show kindness to all?

On the movie' the village'

This is a thought provoking plot. I have been thinking about this for a long time now.
I guess that now I can finally begin to put in into words
If you look at the plot and central themes of the village it will make you wonder, am I not living in a village myself. The very title itself implies the theme of the the movie constraint. A village is a tiny pocket with their own separate customs and traditions. Now we can see there probably is nothing wrong with having your own traditions but what happens when you completely close off the village , to ensure that no outside influence enters. We can see now how this will breed a generation of intolerance since they were not exposed to the idea of choices and other possibilities. It has been a while since I started this blog and during this time I have seen another movie that followed closely with the plot of the village called population 436, in this movie the villagers lived on the superstition that they must maintain the population at this number, therefore a new visitor or newborn would lead to a lottery in which one of the villagers willingly sacrificed them self at a festival. In this movie the villagers that refused to accept the doctrine were sent to the local hospital to be cured of the 'fever'. This hospital was nothing more than a house with a psychiatric ward and a basement to perform a lobotomy on those who refused to be cured.
Now back to the village and this movie, in both instances the elder villagers used fear to keep the others within the village. Can this not be compared to a household, a village, a community, a culture, a country?
Now I wanted to look at this from another angle.
Look at the village and then determine the constructs of the mind or the so called box. This village that we create for ourselves, based on what we perceive or have been trained to think is wrong and right. basically led to believe that we must follow this particular set of ordained rules or face the consequences form a higher power if not now then pay dearly after dying?
Be it whether we exist within the strict boundaries imposed by religion or government how many of us have actually caged our mind based just on information that has been passed on? superstitions?
There is the safe a color and enforced dress code, can we think of religion, culture or society that also imposes this? Think of the dress code and what is modest, dress is not based on the land but rather on society, who has imposed a strict rule on what is modest and what isn't.
If we go against this we anger the Gods, superstition reigns? The creatures in the village, created by man to instill fear into the villagers to maintain the beliefs that they were fed, now isn't this still so with society? the media like the leader villagers feeding, brainwashing the mind of the youth, into believing what is socially acceptable and caging the spirit now.?
central theme of isolation , superstition, how does this relate to modern world? Are there not countries that still maintain that you adopt their culture before migration in order to keep outside influences out. Then again aren't their countries that say there is a certain way of doing things and even will boldly label it ' the XXX way' and anyone who does not adhere to these constructs be considered a threat too?

In this movie we can see how we limit our ideas and beliefs to that of the village as well. How some are still tied by racism, which is nothing more than beliefs passed on from generation to generation. The likes and dislikes of men that formed society and made its way into doctrine.
The question that both these movies raised was are we living on beliefs and fears that may not really exist, but are actually rules and constrains formed from the whims and idiosyncrasies of others before us.

A voice has risen. This voice is supposed to be the same in all mankind, it is the voice given to us in whatever shred of humanity still exists in our souls.
The voice is the same for you and for me.

Why is this voice rising now?
-to speak against the poison of the masses
-to speak against the misinformation and agenda spread by the media
-to speak against the violence, intolerance and injustice done to masses
- to speak and anyone who has been wronged!

This is the voice that dwells deep inside the hearts of man, the voice that wants to shout to the world, forget your self important attitude and look at what is happening.

In the past few days, the news have been flooded with the story of an unfortunate child that was killed over 10 years ago.
Now how long did we spend on the story of all the unfortunate children killed just days ago in the conflict?
But all these unimportant housewife socalite types will now rise up and speak againt this 10 year old murder and cleverly ignore the thousands of lives claimed just weeks ago.

The media that has all the power wastes their time following celebrites. Where is the journalism which posts no matter what the circumstances and involvements what has happenned in a non-partisan manner? Why do media houses have affiliations with politicians, big shots?
Why are we not educating the masses?
Do we ignore all the global problems, and see only what we are supposed to look at? Do we ignore the genocide and concntrate on drunken drivers because they are anti-Semitic celebrities?

The voice speaks the Truth
Complete, unbiased
I speaks for the masses
who normally would go unheard
The voice is weak yet firm
And rise it shall
No matter who hears
It gives hope and allays fears.
use this voice, it is yours
as it is mine.

Just A Voice

In the mind of this being
within the many whispers and screams
that journey through this mind in one day.
Most of these notions are like droplets of water
that are spilt on the heated mind
and are lost forever
and then a few of these thoughts
will find their way through the crevices
the many streams that flow through
and make its way to the very heart of man

As these thoughts Whisper
through the darkness,
a frail voice emerges,
gentle yet firm it rises from the abyss
And starts a ripple, flowing outwards
A thought, an emotion stirs the mind
Seeking solace, it yearns for support
from coiled emotions as a perception did unwind
with striking clarity ,enlightening the heart.

Listening to the cries of the outside
creeping into the calmness of the inside.
The world tries to hurt the self
The forces from the outside churns the inside
The fathomless creates thunders in the being
And then, the entity rejects the etheral!
But they are not different, the world and the self
For they seek the balance,
The in cannot reject the out, for else it comes in
And together the souls of the out and the in
merges to create a voice thin.

A voice is born, in the turmoil
Weak, frail and easy to silence
But it stands firm, although unheard
The voice is hope, of freedom,
liberation and justice, no more interred.

It speaks as the temporal meets the eternal
a voice that always existed,
emerges when the hearts of men
have turned to stone, this voice born of
the heart of the eternal
will emerge from the mouth of the temporal,
in the chaos and disorder of this plane
Just a Voice, quietly waiting to be heard.
